Rabat hosts the international top five 800-meter track running athletes, such as American Clayton Murphy, Botswananian Nijel Amos, and the three distinguished Kenyans, Jonathan Kitilit, and Ferguson Cheruiyot Rotich.

The discipline that usually evokes the Moroccan glories that have been achieved throughout the history of the national sports, will be distinguished by the participation of the Moroccan Rabab Arrafi, Brahim Kaazouzi, and American Jennifer Simpson.
Regarding the Disk-Throw track and field event, Rabat will surely be in the history books with the participation of the world's elite that will challenge the gravity of its territory, in the presence of Olympic and international champions.
For the Men’s category, the spotlight will be on Swedish giant Daniel Stahl, Jamaican Fedrick Dacres, German Christoph Harting, and Polish Malachowski Piotr, whereas in the Women’s category, the suspense is guaranteed, and the event will be fiercely contested as it also marks the presence of Croatian Sandra Perkovic, Cuban Denia Caballero, and American Valerie Allman.
The evening meeting seems all the more exciting. The sprint will set the stadium ablaze as the Diamond League event convenes the most prominent names in the game especially in the Women’s 100m and 400m, and the Men’s 200m races.
The 100m showcases the duel between the Ivorian Marie-José Ta Lou and Dutch Dafne Schippers. In addition, the contest will be intense in the Men’s 200m with the participation of experienced athletes like Azerbaijani-Turkish athlete Ramil Gulyev. Surely, the crowds will watch a vehement duel between the American Phyllis Francis and Bahraini Salwa Eid Naser in Women’s 400m.
