May 22nd, the 400 meters hurdles runner made a new personal record by finishing the race in 54s 16 time.
“I was not concentrating on running a fast time today. I just wanted to finish on top of this race. This didn't feel windy conditions at all to me. This is the kind of weather that we know in Jamaica. I want to continue lowering my times in the next races. Rome will be the next occasion to do so” she declared.
the American Cassandra came in the second place by making it to the finish line in a 54.69 time, while the South African Wenda Theron Nel finished third with a 54.88 timing.
