The Mohammed VI International Athletics Meeting is part of the top ten of the best athletics meetings on the planet, it welcomes to Rabat more than 190 athletes, including Olympic and world champions from around 60 countries. Scheduled for June 16 at Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Stadium in Rabat, the Meeting, integrated into the Diamond League in 2016, has become an important stage in the Cenacle of the world best meeting’s series.
In the official Diamond League program, the men will compete on: 200m, 800m, 110m Hurdles, 3000m steeplechase, Long jump, High jump, Discus throw with as additional, non-Diamond League events: 1500m and 5000m.
For women's events: 100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, Pole vault, Discus throw.
The Mohammed VI International Athletics Meeting is organized by the Royal Moroccan Athletics Federation, an audience of at least thirty thousand fans is expected at this event with a high-quality television broadcast which had attracted more than 7 millions moroccan viewers in 2018.
